PatrickT1125,
Thank you for the additional information. It is the case that all apps can be moved and removed from the Home Screen. This does not delete the app from the system. Take a look at this YouTube video from Apple Support for more information How to hide Home Screen pages and move apps on your iPhone.
From what you are describing, can it be that these apps are in a folder labeled "Health" as seen here How to move apps and create folders on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch? If so, you can follow similar directions as under "Put apps in a folder" or moving apps from the previous YouTube video. When you press and hold the app and choose Edit Home Screen, drag the app outside of the folder when the apps start shaking. From there you can follow the steps under "Move an app to a different page."
Cheers!
Hello Chris_C1,
Thank you very much for your response.
I tried all of your suggestions, but the problem persists. I have read that the Health app is one of the apps that cannot be deleted (or moved?). The box labeled Health has the icon for Wallet in it. But when I open that box, there are two dots at the bottom and if I tap the right one the Health app appears and it is completely functional. Unfortunately, when I close the Health app, the Wallet app dominates.
So I can use the Health app but I must use 2 steps to get to it. I would prefer to have 2 icons, one for wallet, one for health.
Do you know how to separate them?
Have a good day too
Hello Sharon_419,
Thank you for your helpful reply. I think that you may be correct. The wallet app is in a folder labeled Health. This must have happened when the phone was in my pocket.
I am traveling but when I settle in and have a chance, I will use the information that you gave to solve this problem.
Cheers
Hello Sharon_419,
I have now had time to work on this issue. I did as you suggested and was able to remove the wallet app from the Health folder.
Thank you!
