AirTags set up shows wrong phone number

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 14.5

iPhone is signed into MY Apple ID. All places on my phone show my phone number (my Contact Card, iMessage, FaceTime, etc). However, when I go to add an AirTag, it shows my husband's phone number. We have Family Sharing set up, but there's no reason why my Apple ID would show his phone number in this instance. Both accounts have 2FA set up, and we've added each other's numbers as secondary trusted phone numbers.

For obvious reasons, I would want the AirTag assigned to my phone number. Any ideas would be appreciated.

No, this is initial set up out of the box.

I tap “add item”. I select “Keys”. The it shows my Apple ID with my husband’s phone number right below.

There’s no reason it should display my husband’s phone number. It makes me wonder if something is messed up with iCloud with our accounts.

Click on this link to find out 'How to reset your AirTag' --> https://support.apple.com/HT212251

- "An AirTag can be associated with one Apple ID. If you want to use an AirTag that someone else has used, they need to remove the AirTag from their Apple ID first. If the previous user removed the AirTag from their Apple ID but they were out of Bluetooth range of the AirTag, then you need to reset it before you can use it with your devices."
