how to add apple pay to messenger?
Messenger does not have apple pay listed. how do i add it?

You don't. Messenger is a Facebook application.
If you meant to say "Messages", when composing a message, scroll the icons all the way over and tap on the [...] button. You can add it to your favorites there if Apple Pay Cash is supported where you live and you have set it up in the Wallet app.
