Hi

Is your library set as the system library? Open photos preferences. Is the circled button greyed out? If not, click it.

I have the same problem for the screen saver. Backgrounds work just fine, library is set as system library (option is greyed out)

cannot do anything with the source selection. I've deleted the screen saver plist, rebooted a few times, nothing seems to work. Photos finds all the pictures, changing desktop background works, etc.

My aircraft photos library is very large, but it has been working until today. I'm not aware of any changes that would have broken this.
