I have the same problem for the screen saver. Backgrounds work just fine, library is set as system library (option is greyed out)

cannot do anything with the source selection. I've deleted the screen saver plist, rebooted a few times, nothing seems to work. Photos finds all the pictures, changing desktop background works, etc.

My aircraft photos library is very large, but it has been working until today. I'm not aware of any changes that would have broken this.

I have a slightly different problem. The screensaver and desktop can both find the Photos library I want to use, but the screensaver is using the unedited versions of the pictures instead of the ones I carefully cropped and rotated etc (in Photos). Of the many screensaver problems created by various OS updates (why??), this is a new one.
