Blocking and Deleting number help

If I was to block and delete a contact but later re add that contact, is the number still blocked?

Hi Th3_qu33n_1997,

If you wish to contact that specific Contact card again, you must find the blocked list then remove it from the blocked list: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

Thank you! I’m asking because I had blocked and deleted a contact awhile ago but then readded the contact, then proceeded to text that person and it doesn’t say delivered or read. I had forgotten I blocked them before I contacted them again.
