Long press on the app and select Remove App, then Delete.


You can also go to:

Settings -> General -> iPhone Storage

Find the app and delete it from there.


If you can not delete the app, then you may be restricted by Screen Time, to fix it go to:

Settings -> Screen Time -> Content & Privacy Restrictions -> iTunes & App Store Purchases -> Deletings Apps.

It must be set to Allow before you can delete apps.
