Playback latency from Logic's Studio Horns instrument.

Im having an issue where there is latency during playback only. I have copied and pasted the same exact midi performance/region to other software instruments and they playback fine. Im using version 10.6.2

Logic Pro and Garritan Aria: no sound So close: in Logic Pro, I have a software instrument rack configured w Aria Player, channel 1 playing JABB soprano sax, channels in Aria and Logic match, track is populated with imported MIDI , notes are in range - during playback I can see the piano roll keyboard playing notes, but no sound is emitted. Anything obvious I've missed? I've tried setting channel to All and to each separate value from 1 to 16, no luck. Tracks created from Library play fine.

Logic records spurious MIDI onto audio tracks After upgrading to Logic 10.7 (because my trial of 10.6.3 ran out), I can't record audio tracks anymore, because whenever I do, Logic also creates spurious MIDI regions in other tracks (audio tracks). Is there a fix or workaround to this?

Not sure exactly was causing the issue, but I fixed this by reseting Logic's preferences.
