impossible to recover account

so all i want to do is either have this account deleted, or be able to log into it to delete it because I want to add this email as the forward email to my main apple ID that i have been using for as long as I can remember since the email this account is using is my main email. I dont even remember creating this account. Yet its with my main email, was able to reset the password, but anytime I try to log in the security questions screw me over, and if I try to reset the questions it says I dont have sufficient information to do so, no recovery email, no 2fa since its on an ipod apparently. and so now ig im just gonna have a random account just floating arnd until someone breaks into it and gets my info

iPod, iOS 9

If you can't break into it without all the advantages you have, do you think somebody else can with random guesses?

It's unlikely you can use that email address again anyway. Apple does not have a statement about email address re-use in its documentation that I can find but here is an April 2021 post by ASC contributor IdrisSeabright that was recommended by the official Apple team -

"Once you've used an email address as an Apple ID, it can't be used again for an Apple ID, even if the first Apple ID has been deleted."

This is in accordance with what is claimed in this April 2021 post https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252629414

- Original post: "I tried contacting chat support and finally phone support today and they told me that you can NEVER use an email address that was used for a deleted account."

If you wait long enough, the account will likely disappear:

VII. B " In addition, Apple may terminate your Account upon 30 days’ prior notice via email to the address associated with your Account if (a) your Account has been inactive for one (1) year; or (b) there is a general discontinuance of the Service or any part thereof."

yeah im already starting the process of moving everything and anything I use with gmail to a new email server so that I can stop having 15 emails to have to worry about. Probably gonna take me like 2 weeks but whatever, figured I couldve gonna be able to get into the acc. Cause theres a credit card on their that I have, billing info that I can state, the phone number connected to my current acc as the primary contact, and the 2 emails names are pretty much identical with 1 number changed. Also idk if thats true, I havent logged into that account in probably over 4-5 years, and I fully expect it to be floating arnd for another 4-5.
