I had recently gone to the apple store to see if I can fix my iPhone 11 because I cracked the back. Because all the chips are connected to the back, they told me I was only able to get a new iPhone 11. So I wanted to see if i already have to pay $100 to get a new iPhone 11with my AppleCare+, is there anyway I can just get the latest iPhone?
No. If you pay the $99 replacement fee with your AppleCare+ plan, you will be given the same model and color phone you have. They will NOT upgrade you to an iPhone 12.

You could simply purchase a new iPhone and recycle the old one. That’s about the only way.
