hi so I need to update my plan to have more storage in my MacBook

While you can't get more storage on your Mac, you can buy more iCloud storage for storing content. Please see: Upgrade your iCloud storage plan - Apple Support.

It is shared as long as all your devices are signed into the same Apple ID.

yeah so I have a plan for my phone of 200GB but is this shared with my computer and iPad too?
