Lost Airpod case and Airpod

I have lost my airpod case with one airpod inside, the other one is with me. The Find My IPhone app only shows the airpod that I have. How can I make the other airpod and case show on the map?

Lost one airpod in its case i have one airpod (now out of charge) I’ve lost the other one which is in the case somewhere. The find my airpod shows me the one I have , how do I make it find the second one which is in the case? (I’ve read you can force the map to update for second pod by putting the first one away in case - which obviously I don’t have as it’s missing with the other one inside it) thanks
