I can’t change my country/region

I moved back to the States from Mainland China and I can’t change my country/region. I have never had a balance in my account nor do I have any subscriptions. I’ve also deleted all the apps I had downloaded in China. After a recent update, the App Store has completely changed back to the Chinese one, I’m having trouble upgrading and downloading new US apps and I can’t use the two factor authentication because it’s still connected to my old Chinese number.

We can see that you're trying to change your country/region with your Apple ID since you've moved back to the United States.


Let's take a look at this guide: Change your Apple ID country or region You've already completed so much of what is included, kudos to you! You'll want to review the rest of the information to make sure you've checked everything.


Still not able to change the region? Look under the section "If you can't change your country or region". There is a link that will help you contact Apple Support so they can check into your account with you.
