Combine two music libraries

I bought a new Mac Mini. I added an iTunes library to it from the old Mini. I need simple instructions on how to add another Library from an external drive to the existing library on the new Mini.

Mac mini, macOS 11.3

You can use File > Add to Library to import the media from another media folder. If you want to capture playlists, ratings etc, content to one library, use File > Library > Export Library... to create an XML file, switch to the other library then use File > Library > Import Playlist. In either case see Duplicate songs in iTunes.Music - Apple Community to dedupe after the merge.
