We have just bought 2 iPhone 12 minis, neither will Air Print to our Epson WF-3520 Series printer.
When you select print, both phones “See” the printer but once selected the phone displays Contacting Printer & after approx 5 minutes the phone states “The printer is offline”.
We have several other iPhones & iPads all of which print quite happily to our printer.

Have you tried to reboot the phones, the printer, and the router?
Thanks again for all your help, I have just rebooted everything again (must 5 times now!!), & thankfully my iPhone 12 mini now appears to be printing ok, I will check the other one later 👍👍.

If we understand your post correctly, you're unable to print from your iPhone but other devices can print to the same printer. We’d like to help.
Be sure that you're following the steps in this article:
Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Let us know if that resolves this issue for you.

You may want to look at the epson print app to see if that will work as a bypass for you.

Thanks for reply, all of my other iPhones & iPads connect perfectly to the printer, the 2 iPhone 12 minis “see” the printer in air print but when they try to print after about 3-5 minutes or so I get a message that the printer is offline.
both phones had the data transferred for the old phones, which still connects to the printer & prints perfectly.
all the Apple devices & the printer are on the same network.
Any further help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, from what I can see this appears to be a common problem with the iPhone 12s as I’ve several similar posts on the internet.
