iMovie for Mojave 10.14.6

Hi guys,

I've read into as many threads as I can on this but can't find exactly what I'm looking for. I have Mojave 10.14.6 (am not upgrading further right now) and would like to use iMovie. At some point I have downloaded it as is showing in the Cloud in purchases but if I try to download now it says I need 10.15.6 or later.

Any ideas how to get a working version? I've tried getting iMovie 9 following various instructions but no joy.

Thanks in advance.

Drag your iMovie 10 app from the applications folder into the trash, but do not empty the trash. (You can skip that step if your old iMovie 10 app is no longer on your computer.). Then sign into the app store and download/update iMovie from the list of your past purchases. This procedure should get you the highest iMovie version that Mojave will run. Once you have successfully obtained the download you can empty the trash of your old iMovie version, if you had dragged it into the trash.
