Will the new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID be able to be used for an old iMac 2017 model?

Sounds like you should be good. 2017 Machines ship with a minimum of 10.12. So as long as you run the 10.12.6 combo update you should be fine, if you are still running 10.12.3 or earlier.
