"Bluetooth-enabled Mac computer with macOS10.12.4 or later, iOS devices with iOS 10.3 or later"
Sounds like you should be good. 2017 Machines ship with a minimum of 10.12. So as long as you run the 10.12.6 combo update you should be fine, if you are still running 10.12.3 or earlier.

It will work as a bluetooth keyboard but the Touch ID feature is not supported by Intel iMacs.
