Location of a friend shows "your location is visible" after a random amount of time

Hi Guys,

I've been dealing with an issue since a few months now where me and a friend of mine are sharing each others location with our Iphones.

The issue is that, when a random amount of time passes, the location of my friend dissapears and the status will show "your location is visible". This varies from 10 hours to a week. It feels like whenever I check my friend's location within that 10 hours, it gets some kind of ping which then will keep it alive for the next few hours.

I'm currently sharing my location to another friend too, but i'm not experiencing this with him.

What could this possibly be? Some kind of incompatibility or sync issue?

Yes that happens … it is because you have choose to share location for a specific time period/… remove the friend sir .. then when adding or sharing the location make sure both accept and shares the location as indefinite .. or else what you said will happen/,,,,,❤️☺️ Chose the last one “share indefinitely” then it your prob is solved… but do from both the devices..

Thanks for your reply.

I've had my friends phone in my hand to see if everything worked correctly. What I noticed is that when I sent my friend a location request with indefinite setting, she only had to tap the accept button.

You are saying both have to select Indefinite. Are you saying that whenever I show her my location, she has to do that process of sharing her too instead of accepting it?
