apple id

So I received an email saying that someone logged into my old apple id at 3am. I saw this just now at 9.41 and i tried to log in and it wouldn’t let me. I clicked on reset password and it said to email this account which starts with a “g” letter which is not my gmail. Although I do not use this apple Id, there is still important information . please help me
