I have a new and up to date Apple Watch (SE) and iPhone (SE2020). I download an audible book to my phone and sync it with my watch, but while I’m out listening with my watch the book is also playing on my phone on my desk. Can someone explain why this is happening and how I can stop it?

I need help with Audible, not Audiobooks.
I have the same problem, Apple does not seem to have an answer.
I wonder if they are trying to make us use their audiobooks app not audible?
