Screen repair

I’m about to replace my cracked iPhone screen with a new one. Will my phone lose all the app and everything if I replace the old screen with the new one?

You can't do that, Apple will not work on it as it is considered obsolete (it would have been nice if you had included the model of your iPhone in your first post).

If you buy a decent screen, have a good toolkit and you have experience working on small electronics you can change your screen and not lose your data. If you do not have any of those items find a competent 3rd party repair shop and have them change the screen. But if your iPhone is still working do a backup before you go either route.
