Anyone know what happens if you send in a device by the trade-in deadline, but are still waiting for the new one? If you want to send back the new one within the 14 day return period, does Apple send you your old device or let you keep the money they've offered?
In my personal experience, they did not ship me the trade-in box until shortly after my new device was shipped (which was 3 or 4 weeks after I placed the order).
Also note that the 14-day return period starts when you receive the trade-in box. That is stated in the email they send when they ship the box.
