Amex notifications

iPhone 12 Pro iOS 14.5.1

Amex (American Express) delayed Apple Pay / Apple Wallet purchase notifications.

anyone else having this issue?

yes in the wallet I have all notifications on & in the settings app too.

The notification will only come up after I make another purchase - and only the previous purchase notification appears, never the recent purchase

We understand that notifications regarding purchases made through Apple Pay with your AMEX is delayed until the next purchase. We'd like to look into this with you to see how we can help.

There are some things that may be affecting this issue for you. Let's see if we can isolate what's causing this to happen.

Does this only happen with your AMEX account, or do you experience this issue with other cards in Wallet, too?
Do any other apps experience a similar issue, or only Wallet?
When this occurs, in Do Not Disturb enabled? If so, does disabling Do Not Disturb have any effect? Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Let's check Settings > General > Date & Time to see if the date and time settings are correct for your current location. This can sometimes have an effect on notifications. Set the date and time on iPhone
If you're connected to a VPN when this happens, let's temporarily disable the VPN to see if that helps.
