On watch series 3, how can I delete music? The download function is turned off, but there's over 1Gb of music on the watch

Open the Watch app on your iPhone and select the My Watch tab.

Tap Music.

At the top, tap Edit.

Tap the minus sign for the item you want to remove.

Tap Delete and then confirm this action by tapping Remove.

Tap Done when you finish.

Thank you but there is no Edit.

I understand that if i download music then I can delete it via the method you explained.

But music downloading is turned off - for obvious space reasons.

Yet the phone also tells me i have over 1 Gb of music on it - and therefore i cannot install any updates.

Would you know how i can access those files on my watch and delete them from the watch - but obviously not from my iPhone nor iCloud?

Many thanks!
