You can open your iPhoto Libraries in Photos form Mac. Photos will create a new library from the iPhoto Library. See: https://web.archive.org/web/20160116035051/https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204655
The iPhoto Slideshows will be converted to albums. You can create new Photos Slideshows from these albums.
