Force Restart iPhone 12

I tried force restarting my iPhone to clear some memory as a webpage crashed on my browser (must be a faulty website). After performing the action to force reset, I get this boot fault on the ResetCounter analytics log entry. I just got the phone last week. I pressed and quickly released the volume up, volume down, and held the side on/off button to try and force restart my phone. Is there something I need to activate so I can force restart my device and have the restart be successful???????

Here is the process:

  • Press and quickly release VOLUME UP
  • Press and quickly release VOLUME DOWN
  • Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears

The key here is QUICKLY for each button, then Hold for a long time (15-30 seconds). If the phone starts normally, just use it. And don’t go poking around in diagnostic logs that mere mortals like us can’t understand.
