Why do my ripped cds only show on my iMac? It’s not in the cloud or my other 5 devices. Home sharing is on.

Home sharing allows them to seen in your home network, not iCloud.

You need a paid subscription to either iTunes Match or Apple Music to see your own CD based music in your iCloud Music Library.

I see, that’s why my owned music disappeared from my playlist. I’ve called Apple about this several times in the past. The put them back then a few months later they disappear again.
