iPhone MAX - Mail App Static List View in Landscape

Hi Apple,

One of the best features of having an early "MAX" sized iPhone was that you could quickly browse AND preview one's email in landscape orientation. One's email list would remain static on the left side of the screen, while one could scroll a preview of the message on the right.

In the most current iOSs, the email list disappears (as a left fly-out menu) quickly. Could you pretty pretty princess please, give us an option to let the left email list menu be static?
