Can I disable auto space after period?

Every time I hit period it adds a space after, is there an option to disable this?

In reference to previous threads on this subject toggling "Add period with double-space" in Keyboard settings will not resolve the issue of spaces being added after punctuation. No need to reset PRAM or SMC either.

Simply check your keyboard accessibility settings.

"System Preferences"

"Accessibility"

"Keyboard"

"Accessibility Keyboard"

"Options"

"General"

Then deselect "Insert and remove spaces automatically" if selected.

"Done"

"Quit System Preferences"

Viola! Problem fixed!
