Step count automatically getting abbreviated

Hi, all of my sudden my step count on my Apple Watch is reading “11k” instead of “11,780”. It is abbreviating the number. The problem is I would like to know the exact number of steps. When I look at “My Faces” on the watch app on my phone, the example doesn’t abbreviate the number. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
