the apple logo appeared out of nowhere on my phone and has not gone away for hours

I dont know what to do, the apple logo has been there for hours without a little bar underneath.

Press and quickly release VOLUME UP
Press and quickly release VOLUME DOWN
Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears

Logo won't go away Just updated my iPhone 8 to the newest 16.1.2 update... and now the Apple logo is on the center of my screen, as if it's permanently burned there.
