can I use an old iMac as a monitor for a new iMac 2020 27 inch

iMac 27″, macOS 10.13

Hi RECLV,

Sorry, no. 2020 and newer iMac models don't work with Target Display Mode.

RECLV, there are two third party software options that might work, depending on your situation. Luna Display and DuetDisplay. I'm currently using Duet display to connect a 2012 iMac to a 2020 iMac.
