Phone stopped working

I just bought a brand new iPhone twelve two weeks ago and it has stopped working completely. None of the apps will open, it is slow to turn on and off, and I can't shut it down no matter how many times I try. I am still receiving notifications and I can open my phone, but nothing works once I'm in, not even basic functions like text or calculator. What should I do?

iPhone 12, iOS 14

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

* Press and quickly release Volume UP button

* Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button

* Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
