Music not downloading to Apple watch

Hi,

I have an iPhone XR and an Apple Watch Series 4. I cannot download music to my watch. The music has been downloaded to my iPhone via the Music app. I’ve done all software updates for both my phone and my watch. I’ve restarted both my phone and watch. My watch is connected to the charger with WiFi and Bluetooth turned on. There is no other music on my watch and there is over 8GB of available space which should be enough space for the 10 songs I would like to download. The app has been saying 1 playlist waiting for over an hour. Any suggestions?

hi..i've experienced this before..more than 12 hours but none has been downloaded! here what i did to fix the issue..


1) back up your apple watch

2) reset your apple watch using watch App on your iphone. go to general > reset > erase apple watch content and settings

3) key in your apple id and password. Apple watch will shut down and reboot.

4) pair your phone to apple watch again and simply follow the steps.

5) your apple music will download automatically. or u can download as per normal.


trust me it works! from 12 hours with no music downloaded to less than 12 minutes for 100 songs.. good luck!
