2017 Macbook Pro pink screen

HI guys, my 2017 MacBook pro screen went pink, guess I'll need to replace the screen, was hoping I could use it with an external monitor till I'm able to replace the screen but it goes off 2 seconds after coming on, I wish I could upload a video. Help please.

To leave Safe Mode, click  in the menu bar and choose “Restart”
