activation locked

I have purchased below mentioned used apple iPhone XR, used apple series 4 watch and airpod from emirates auction Dubai UAE (Dubai police lost items). Unfortunately it is activation locked and find my service is on. So i cannot use it. You are kindly requested to unlock the phone and apple watch so i can use it. I paid Dhs. 2000 for the items from emirates auction purchase and iam sad now. i can provide you any purchase details if u need.

If a used iOS device has been 'Activation locked' then only the previous owner can unlock it, either by providing you with the account ID and password, or by carrying out the steps detailed in How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support (as he should have done before selling it).

If you are unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all. Apple cannot unlock it for you, nor find the previous owner for you, and neither can the websites that offer to unlock it for a fee: these are scams.

You should if possible return them to wherever you bought it and ask for a refund as in this event the devices are completely useless.

There is nothing you, or anyone else, can do: the devices are permanently useless. I'm afraid that's the risk you take with that sort of auction.

kindly note that there is no return and refund option as it is government auction company. Dubai police lost item action department.

The person that you bought this watch from needs to follow all the steps in this link;

Prepare the watch so the buyer can use it.

If they can't or won't then get your money back or recycle the watch and put it down to experience.
