Apple Watch and iPhone music sync

I was wondering if there’s a way to stop my apple watch from reopening the interface to control my music playing in my iPhone.

I listen to music all the time and I don’t want my watch to tell me what’s playing on my iPhone or give me the option to play, pause or skip a song from it. I still want want to receive calls or texts and notifications so I don’t want to disconnect it.

The problem is, the watch keeps draining my battery for as long as I’m listening to music on my phone. I don’t need to see what’s my playing on my watch I use my phone for that.

I don’t mind it but I keep closing it and as soon as I change songs IN MY phone, my watch likes to tell me again what’s playing and stays open until I close it, but… as soon as I go to my phone and change songs again the watch goes back to tell me, hey this is what’s playing in your phone and it’s annoying.

Please help
