iPhone virus?

Can an iPhone get a virus if you miss a software update. And if it does what do you do to remove viruses from your iPhone

A true virus has to replicate itself to do actual damage which means finding other apps to attack. iOS is sandboxed and has no user accessible file system so the virus has no way to get to any other apps and replicate. Other threats to devices are malware, etc. Just skipping an update does not mean you have any malware on your iPhone. If you are truly concerned put your iPhone in DFU mode (google it for help in doing so) and set up your iPhone as. new device (not from your backup).
