I have an Apple Watch Series 2 that I am happy with. However, I understand that not only are regular updates no longer provided but I understand that security updates are no longer provided either. It still works perfectly and is actually remarkable shape. Is it safe to keep using it? Thanks.
I don't think that really matters. By "due diligence", I simply mean be careful about how you respond to emails or texts that may be scams, phishing, etc.

As long as you use due diligence and the paired iPhone is up-to-date, you should be OK.
