Free downloads requireing passwords

So, when i try to update or download an app, it requires me to put in my apple id password, when imdo that, it doesnt work, when i try to reclaim it, it says an error has occurred, when i try disabling having free downloads require my password, it still asks for it, i have no idea what to do here and i cant update or download any apps

Device or computer? Have you tried signing out of the App Store/iTunes, restarting the device, and then signing back in?
