Why can’t I receive emails to my new iPad though it has email address saved in it?

How can I get my new iPad to start receiving emails? Because it won’t for 2 years-I’m stuck using old one for emailing!

Do you use an App Password? If so, try a new App Password. It may need to resync if the App password has expired (something often seen after making a job change to your device such as updating it).
