Apple Pencil Gen 2nd: Double tap for switching easer and pen is not working

I am using OneNote for my uni notes and I set the setting to switch eraser and pen by double-tapping for a long time. But suddenly when I double tapped changing it to eraser successfully, it cannot be switched back to the pen I used. Before then it was working fine and I tried to update my IOS system but it's still not working. Anyone facing the same issue here? BTW, I'm using Air 4 and IOS is 14.5.1 currently

Does the double-tap work as anticipated when using the native iPad Apps? If the problem is isolated to OneNote, you will need to seek assistance from the third-party App Developer:
