I mistakenly created my 7 year olds account with my personal email address, since then I have created an iCloud account with a unique email address we have established for her, but I can not figure out how to delete the original (mistakenly created) iCloud account, which is also taking up space within the family share area. Would appreciate any assistance how to tackle this dilemma. Thanks in advance.
One way to do this would be to log into the unwanted "child" account and request deletion of the AppleID. You should have the ID and password from when you first set up the account, or can recover the password according to information provided in the referenced links below.
