I am having trouble connecting my Apple Pencil to my iPad (8th generation). My iPad accepts the pencil as a device, but when I try to connect the pencil for usage in Bluetooth settings it will not connect. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure thr tip of the Pencil is screwed on snugly ( NOT TOO tight ! ).
