Hi there, Krishnachaitanyapedapudi,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you have some concerns over the temperature of your iPhone. You've come to the right place for help!

While an increase in iPhone temperature may cause you pause, there are certain circumstances under which this may be expected behavior. Please review the "Your device might get warm" section of Keeping iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch within acceptable operating temperatures - Apple Support to find out when it's normal, followed by the "If your device gets too warm" section to learn how your phone manages its temperature. Review the remaining portions of the document to learn how to make help manage the phone's temperature yourself.

If you feel the iPhone is getting too warm outside of the scenarios described in the article, do not hesitate to respond back. If you do, please provide the following information:

  1. The iPhone model and currently installed iOS version number (you can find this under Settings > General > About). Example: iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14.5.1
  2. Was your iPhone charging overnight?
  3. Where was your iPhone located overnight? Example: on a desk, in bed with you, etc.

Cheers!
