I have an app on both iPhone and iPad. App icon on iPhone is correct but icon is empty on iPad. I have rebooted iPad, deleted app from iPad then restored app from App Store but icon is still empty. App works fine on both devices, just empty icon on iPad. How can I get the icon to display correctly?
Nothing helps. As stated before the app is also on my iPhone and the icon displays fine, just empty on iPad. iPad is up-to-date, I have rebooted the iPad, I have deleted then reinstalled app (including reboot between delete and reinstall) still empty icon—but app works fine otherwise. The app does not have an iPad version, only an iPhone version, perhaps this is the problem. Will try contacting app creator and get their drift on it.

This could indeed be the issue. It is possible to reference different icons for different devices, and the iPad could be looking for this icon, but nothing is found.
