MacBook Pro 13-inch showing vertical lines in display after 45 degrees

My MacBook Pro 13-inch is showing vertical lines (which vary) in the display past 45 degrees of opening; less than that the screen looks completely fine; could it be the connection between the display and the motherboard?

Thank you for your answer! I am not entirely sure if my MacBook qualifies, it is the model and year, but it is not the specific behavior described in the Backlight program page

? The projector cable is a known issue.

You can always wait until "Display backlight stops working completely" if you prefer.
