Macbook Pro 2012 15". Monitor connectivity.

Hello there,

I'm wanting to connect an external monitor to my Macbook Pro 2012 15". The displayport/thunderbolt connection is already in use for another piece of hardware. Do I need to buy a hub to connect a monitor? Or is there a way around this?

Hi,

I think it's quite hard to find Thunderbolt 1 Hub right now. There is no way to connect external display except using Thunderbolt1 port.
