I lost my camera icon and camera

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities! We understand that you're missing the Camera app and want to recover it. If you're missing it from the Control Center, use the steps under "Add and organize controls" to add the Camera icon back: Use and customize Control Center on iPhone

If instead it's missing from your Home Screen, locate it in the App Library and add it back from there. The App Library can be found by swiping left from any Home Screen.
