How can I use a printer with an IPad Pro in a dorm room, when wireless printers are not allowed?

I live in a college dorm. I would like to print from my iPad to a printer in my dorm room, but wireless printers are not allowed or supported, which is the case at most colleges. In every other way, an iPad Pro is perfect for college needs. But how can I use a printer/scanner in my dorm room with an iPad Pro?

Thank you. I will give Apple my feedback on this.

However, after some searching, I have found a solution to my original question. Bluetooth.

Though I cannot use a personal WiFi printer in a college dorm that prohibits them, I can use a Bluetooth Printer/Scanner with 3rd party software instead of AirPrint. I’ve just looked up a few HP printer/scanners that use Bluetooth, and HP provides its own printer/scanner app to connect to Apple mobile devices. There are other Bluetooth printer options as well.

Yes, of course the iPad uses WiFi to connect to the internet. That has nothing to do with the prohibition of wireless printers and routers in college dorms. Colleges have their own exclusive wireless networks for students to use for computer/mobile device connections. But, unlike computers and mobile devices, routers and wireless printers are prohibited because they create a constant WiFi signal that interferes and competes with the official campus WiFi signal.

So, yes, I can “go somewhere” else to print. Or scan. Even though scanning is huge part of my digital work and the ability to do it in my room would be incredibly time-saving.

My hope was that I could use some sort of USB-C adapter to create a corded connection to a printer/scanner. If this is not currently possible, I don’t see why Apple could not make it possible in the future. There are many places in the world with exclusive WiFi networks, where physical connections to printers and scanners should be possible.
