Cursor doesn’t move unless space bar now?

So I just got the new 12 mini and the most disappointing thing I’m finding is that I can’t press anywhere on the keyboard anymore in order to move the cursor to fix a spelling mistake or grammatical error. I know I can long press the space bar, but if I can do that, why can’t they give us the option to turn off the special characters when we long press on letters/numbers so we can use that long press to move the cursor again? I mean honestly I think the only secondary letter I’ve use that I had to hold a letter is the ¢ symbol so they should just make it so you long press the 123 button to get to 4-5 different keyboards or something so we can go back to what it was. I still hold letters waiting for my cursor to move and I’m sick of it haha ok, end rant.
